Setting Up Email on Linux
If your email is hosted on SecureServer.net through MakeYourNetwork, you can configure your email using Mozilla Thunderbird, one of the most popular email clients available for Linux.
Linux does not have a native Microsoft Outlook application. Thunderbird provides a reliable IMAP email solution for Linux users.
Step 1 - Install Thunderbird
Install Mozilla Thunderbird using your Linux distribution's software manager.
Examples:
- Ubuntu / Debian: Software Centre or apt package manager
- Fedora: Software Centre or dnf
- Arch Linux: pacman
Step 2 - Open Thunderbird
Launch Mozilla Thunderbird.
If this is your first email account, Thunderbird will automatically display the account setup screen.
If you already have Thunderbird installed:
- Open the menu ☰
- Select Account Settings
- Select Account Actions
- Choose Add Mail Account
Step 3 - Enter Your Email Details
| Setting | Value |
